Pilgrim’s Regress
Last night I played the Pilgrim’s Progress Board Game.
Liberated from the City of Destruction I trawled though the Slough of Despond and passed through the Wicket Gate. I laid my burden at the Cross, defeated Apollyon in the Valley of Humiliation. Braving the Valley of the Shadow of Death with faith and assurance I resisted Wanton, Ignorance and The Flatterer.
Having reached The Delectable Mountains, stood atop Mount Clear the Celestial City was in plain sight… then my mate rolled a six.
Religion is for chumps. Stick to Monopoly and invest in real estate.
